The job
Fix the appliance. Explain it in plain English. Stand behind the repair.
Our technicians repair and install major appliances for homes and businesses across Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland. Most days the job is booked the same day, inside a two-hour window the customer already knows.
On a typical call you arrive in the window, find the fault, and tell the customer the full repair price before anything is opened. The visit is $89, credited to the repair if they go ahead. Common parts ride on the truck; the rest is ordered and fitted on a return visit under the same 90-day warranty.
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Washers and dryers
- Dishwashers
- Ovens, ranges and cooktops
- Microwaves and range hoods
- Wine coolers and garbage disposals

Who we are looking for
Two ways in: experienced, or willing to learn.
If you already repair appliances, apply directly. If you do not, the Academy takes motivated beginners and career changers and trains them for free, in our warehouse and then on real jobs.
Hands-on experience
Washers and dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens. Tell us which appliances and brands you know best and the kind of work you have done.
Your own car and tools
The job is on the road, in customers’ homes across Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland. You bring the transport and the tools; we bring the customers.
English with customers
You explain the fault in plain English before anything is opened.
Careful work in people’s homes
Shoe covers and floor protection on every visit, the price agreed before the work starts, and a repair you stand behind.
